From The Archives: Altered Doctor Who DVD Being Released In The U.S.

The Chase an early Doctor Who serial and the third story EVER to feature the Doctor's archenemies the Daleks is finally being released in the U.S., double billed along with The Space Museum

It will however lack six seconds of footage removed from the original broadcast version. Apparently there was a clip of the Beatles playing in the original and it's being left out due to contractual restrictions.

While six seconds might seem trivial, hardcore Whovians such as myself will settle for nothing less than the full monty! Luckily the U.K. version is completely uncut!

Where Region 1 has failed us, Region 2 once again soars! Kudos to anyone with the cash to pick up a copy from jolly ole England. I know I'm going to have to start saving my pennies to swing it.
