Roger Slifer, comic book and animation writer extraordinaire, as well as the creator of Lobo!
Just so everyone's clear, Lobo's the guy who's not dressed up like Superman
... has just created a script for a brand new graphic novel called The Malcontents! However, he still needs help raising the $35,000 it will take to hire an artist and publish the book. Rather that selling out to a major company, he's appealing to the readers themselves, asking for donations and offering benefits to those who do!
I'd tell you more about it, but I think Mr. Slifer has already done a much better job of it himself. Click on the pic below to go to his website where he's made a video expounding upon his concept and detailing what's to be gained by helping a brother out.
And remember, if you don't want to contribute, that's fine. No one will hold it against you ... EXCEPT FOR LOBO!!!

(NOTE: Unfortunately Mr. Slifer's kickstarter project failed to generate the funds neccessary for his project to reach publication. The point in reposting this article is to preserve a record of the original article and of Mr. Slifer's efforts, which I hope, will one day reach fruition. Thank you.)
